little sassafras

I'm just your regular undercover cat lady with a deep DEEP love for all things design related, farmer's markets, anything that involves running, kicking a ball, or pedaling real fast, organizing, European adventures with my best friend, cooking, eating (especially chocolate peanut butter ice cream) and being a vegetarian! Saving the world one meal at a time :)

Here you will find a mash up of my favorite things: interiors, architecture, graphic design, photography, nature, art, fashion, food, food, food, bold geometric patterns, natural textures, and maybe a kitty or two (or three).

If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email. I always link images back to their source, but if you'd like me to take down an image of yours just let me know!

Loving the colors here.

I would love to have this collection of spices. I have the same jars, so I guess I’m on my way :)

I just love Katie’s styling. Always.

Snagged this image from Rue La La, actually, but it’s a cute Indian restaurant in Boston that I’ve never heard of - MELA, on Tremont Street in the South End. Might just pay it a visit to see the interior! Such a fun looking space.

I will never tire of Katie’s food photography!

It’s my birthday! Yay! Wish I knew where this restaurant was… that’s where I’d celebrate :) Via here.

Some recent photos snagged from my favorite food photographers blog - What Katie Ate!

Delicious popsicle photography by Anna Williams.

My kind of winter morning… need to get myself some large, cable knit socks! Also by Sarah Maingot.

Now this is my kind of meal… via here.

Newest obsession - greek yogurt with crispy brown rice and fresh fruit :)

My haul from the Farmers’ Market today! I even picked up some things I’ve never had before - a Mediterranean squash (I forget what he said the name was) and some yellow tomatoes! Roasting some of those veggies right now to throw together with rice and tofu :)

My thesis in Festival form! You know where you’ll find me 2 weekends from now :)
