little sassafras

I'm just your regular undercover cat lady with a deep DEEP love for all things design related, farmer's markets, anything that involves running, kicking a ball, or pedaling real fast, organizing, European adventures with my best friend, cooking, eating (especially chocolate peanut butter ice cream) and being a vegetarian! Saving the world one meal at a time :)

Here you will find a mash up of my favorite things: interiors, architecture, graphic design, photography, nature, art, fashion, food, food, food, bold geometric patterns, natural textures, and maybe a kitty or two (or three).

If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email. I always link images back to their source, but if you'd like me to take down an image of yours just let me know!

Simple and classy! I’ve really been into lighting lately.

…and the colors here too. Yellow, washed out flesh tones, silver, muted auburn hair.

Gorgeoussssss! By Douglas + Bec.

Signed up for my first marathon yesterday and have become obsessed with reading race recaps but also event poster design. Seriously, some are really great! Gonna start it off with last years for the race I’m doing and then some other random ones.

A great DIY! If it was a bit more dense and nest like I would be totally going crazy right now. The mix of a neutral and a florescent is great though. I love that bright bright colors are in style right now! It brings out the 80’s child in me :)

Cutest little animal figurines!

The color combinations in this photo are really interesting… and I might have a bit of a recent obsession with pigs after signing up for my first marathon - The Flying Pig Marathon on May 6th in Cincinnati!

Funny how I saw this fabric in the latest Living Etc, googled it, and Vogue Australia is also featuring it this month. Well, what can I say, it’s gorgeous and everybody knows it! Malvasia velvet in Melograno, by Rubelli.
